You will find our little oasis near Rastenburg. On an area of 1.4 hectares there is a remaining farm, consisting of a main house, in which we live, a spacious winter garden, a barn, in which 4 apartments are accommodated. A somewhat secluded wooden house and an apartment in the main house are rented out, and there is also a bar with an open fireplace and a 600 square meter lake.
There are two beautifully situated lakes for swimming, canoeing and stand-up paddling in the immediate vicinity. Fortunately, there are no promenades, infrastructure or the like, just unspoiled nature. No fences, lots of meadows, forests and other lakes.
Reszel, 16 km away, is a small-town gem in Warmia and the seat of the rural municipality of the same name. It is a "slow city" with around 4500 inhabitants. The town is known for its defiant bishop's castle, the well-preserved medieval old town and the last witch in Europe.
Small concerts are held in the castle and there is also a nice restaurant.
